Nothing good ever comes out of those woods...
Red's visit to her grandmothers house didn't go as planned. Instead of her grandmother, she was greeted by a menacing wolf who'd killed her grandmother long before she arrived. Red quickly met the same fate. But, to her surprise, she awoke at an earlier location in the forest unscathed. Some unseen force is rewinding time when she dies and bringing her back. This means she has infinite chances to get revenge on that wolf! But surely, something like this doesn't come without cost. And will that cost be worth it?
Red Leaves is a short story made in RPGMaker featuring a spin on the Red Riding Hood story with creative liberties. Guide Red through her time loop and die many, many times. Find new ways to kill the wolf and maybe spot some secrets down the way. And don't forget to have a chat with that Woodcutter over there, as much as he'd like you to leave him alone.
Somewhat a glorified visual novel. If you don't like reading a lot of words, this may not be for you.

I saw this a while back when some cool friend/person shared the game link of this, and I am interested to check it out.... unfortunately, it took time, because I was busy. Now I had finally a chance to play it out, I can say I really like this game, despite the few bugs, and weird loops resetting levels (tho make sense in a time loop, still the inconsistency bothered me, and is still playing another time loop game, not an RPG Maker tho and it's a random obscure DS game, and I still haven't finished that one. I still wish to play In Stars and Time.) But enough random ramble. Again, I enjoyed this game, I really like the character the arts, the portraits and their expressions, the pixel arts(instant 9 to 10/10 for me.) I also like the twists within twists this game has to offer. I know and felt it had as well inspiration on one RPG Maker that is also about time looping (and like I said I still have to play it.), and I also like it has some reference to it, especially being in a rename pun reference. I also like the characters, and they are verily fleshed out, especially with their dialogues. The creatures of "darkness" are also adorable, I'm not gonna lie
on that one. As for the music, it's really good too. Also one final thing, the title. I also like it's also multiple meanings, and as well interprets the whole grand scheme of the story.
Overall, it's a very fun experience of an RPG Maker adventure, and a really relatable misfits adventure.

What an awesome game! I think the story is really cute (and horrifying) and fun, and the art is absolutely wonderful!

AAAA This game is SO good!! I had to stop myself from playing through it in one sitting sgfhfs
I did run into a bug at the very end, the game freezes at the sunrise scene. Other than that, I had a really great experience with it! Looking forward to seeing future games you make!! (Also the OST is sosososo good, definitely adding it to some of my playlists >:3)
